Mambo Merge, like any other App, needs to be trained and instructed on how to locate additional merge fields not populated within Template Builder and Merge Data screens. Use Relationships to map merge fields using LookUp Fields and related lists using Related Lists within routines. Access more data within the Routines object’s scope, and create meaningful documents by making sure all the connected data between objects can be displayed at once.
Step 1: Prerequisites ↵
Before diving in, make ensure you complete the following. This will ensure everyone is up to speed and able to follow along.
1.1 Install a “Mambo Component” within the Object page you’re using for merged documents.
1.2 Use “Template Builder” to prepare the “templates” you intend to use within the Routine.
1.3 Have created a “Routine” and “Merge Button” within a “Mambo Component.”
1.4 Must be running our “Full Speed” Edition to use this feature.

1.1 To get started we have set up a routine, assigned a template, and are ready to add some dancers. Choose from “Update Record”, “Save Task” or *“Send Email” *to enhance your routines.

Step 2: Test The Relationships ↵
One of our simple yet more powerful dancers allows you to update records. Whether you need to change a date, status, field value, set a merge date, or more these dancers can update just about any field available within a specific record.
2.1 We begin by selecting “Update Record”. Then proceed to “Add Field” and choose from the dropdown list.
